Jewellery Care Guidelines:
Your jewellery is precious and needs to be taken care of to ensure it remains beautiful and intact for years to come. We recommend following these guidelines to keep your jewellery looking its best:
Professional Cleaning and Inspection: We advise that you get your jewellery professionally cleaned and inspected every 6 months. However, with each purchase, we include general care instructions relevant to each piece for basic cleaning to be done at home. We have also included a microfibre glove/cloth for handling and polishing.
Avoid Contact with Liquids: Avoid exposing your jewellery to any liquids, including water, lotions, perfumes, and oils. Sweat can also damage jewellery, so remove it when exercising or engaging in any physical work. It is recommended to remove jewellery when showering, washing hands, or swimming in a pool or the sea.
Apply Makeup and Body Products before Wearing Jewelry: To prevent residue from makeup, perfume, hairsprays, or body creams getting onto your jewellery, only wear it after you have applied these products.
Store Jewelry in a Cool Place: To protect your jewellery from sunlight and heat, store it in a cool and dry place. Avoid storing it in a damp or humid environment.
Use Specialized Cleaning Products: DO NOT use any household cleaning products or highly reactive solutions to clean jewellery. A lint-free cloth (which is included) and a specially formulated polish for cleaning jewellery will suffice.
- Repair Immediately: If you notice any gemstones or links that have moved out of place, please have them repaired immediately to avoid any further damage or loss of stones.
By following these simple guidelines, you can ensure that your jewellery remains beautiful and valuable for years to come.
